After over 10 years as a professional strategy consultant and project manager Sue decided a change was in order - something that better balanced her creative interests, her natural talents and her professional skills, experience and qualifications - ideally allowing her to work both indoors and out! After undertaking 4 additional years of study, combined with 3 years of practical design and construct experience dirty girl designs blossomed into existence.

"I experience every single garden I design as if it was my own. I really enjoy getting to know new clients throughout the design process, I get excited about the design as it develops and even more excited about the build. I love designing gardens but I get the greatest {job} satisfaction from seeing those designs beautifully built, and continue to prosper for years to come"
